I played it back slowly. Looks like you are right. He swerved over, headed toward far left lane. Mankes you want to TURN YOUR HEAD and check your mirror every lane change.

Looks like the biker was slowing and changed lanes into the van's lane, and the van saw the bike and started to slow a little and change lanes to the right but the bike was slowing a lot faster. Van's brake lights came on just before it hit the bike.

Why were those vehicles on the side of the road in the first place? Is that a parking area?

If you slow it down and watch the pavement strike, the poor guy cartwheels butt under and lands head first. Yikes!

Even when you know what you are about to see it still makes ya clench when you see it!
