Came in today 1978 e standard.odometer says approx 24,000 miles. Have not tried to crank it over yet. Has been sitting in a dry heated shop since it was crashed in 1983. Has a pretty clean special tank,round headlight from a special,no keys of course,both sidecovers damaged but could be fixed.has a nice oil cooler on it with the steel braided lines. Ususal 1981 style.Standard seat is ripped pan still has some life left but should be treated. Has a really cool non factory handlebar sort of drag bar style with a twist. Has a polished chrome triple tree handlebar clamp. Left/right controls are excellent. Front turn signals and mounts are useable. Carbs look really good. what are the exaust`s like,are they oem or after market jobbies.

4-1 header brand unknown,lots of dents lower down,completly covered in brown rust.has a very small burned out muffler on it. It will not be for sale as I consider it to be scrap. andreas

How bad are the side covers? Mine look good but the bottom pins on both are busted.

I am attempting to repair the sidecovers. right sidecover has broken mount tab,needs to be re attached.no other damage. left sidecover has a 4-5 inch crack on one side most likely from po who did not know you need a key to unlock sidecover. Prefer to see if my repairs hold up before selling them. andreas
