Some of you may know Ernie Basinger, who was a member of this august group for quite a while. He traded into a Goldwing a few years back, among other reasons, because it was easier on his wife. I saw this item on the AP wire today. Peggy was his wife. Deepest condolences to Ernie.

(AP Rapid City) The former editor of the Rapid City Journal, Peggy Sagen died early Monday.
She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December 2003. She continued to work at the Journal until July when she retired because of the effects of the disease and chemotherapy. She was 57.
