Just checking in again

Been awhile since I posted here. Just added another 1980 XS 1100 G to be a partner with my other 80 G, which I bought new. The bike was posted on this forum for sale and as luck would have it, the seller was real close to me. As a collector of bikes, especially Yamaha's, I am happy to have it. Runs great, looks great and even has the original mufflers installed(not so on my other XS). It has Spiegler braided lines and an interesting Slipstreamer extra large windscreen mounted to the bars.
Will be talking more as times goes on.

Congrats! It's nice to see these bikes stay in our little Xsive family and not end up parted out on ebay.

Thanks for the reply. Was in Eureka two weeks ago heading back to CA from a great ride down 101 from Pt Angelus WA. Stayed in a Victoria B&B near E street and then had breakfast next morning at Cook House in Samoa. Great experience being in Eureka. Then headed east toRedding and Reno for an FJR 1300 gathering in Reno.
You and I think the same, I just could not let the bike go to an unknowing and have it be junked out or worse.
