I ordered some parts over a week ago from www.bikebandit.com and, as far a I can tell, don't know when if ever they will be shipped to me. Have you used them? Did you get good service from them? Is there a phone number to contact them?

For customer service they give Service@BikeBandit.com
Here is what is says about checking order status:
To better address the growing traffic on BikeBandit.com we have developed the only online real-time order tracking system in the powersports industry so that our customers have instant access to all their BikeBandit.com orders. To view the status of your order online, just login to www.BikeBandit.com and select View Order History directly under your name on the left side of the page.
This page will show you every order you have ever placed on BikeBandit.com and the status of each item in your order(s). If the order has already shipped, the page will also display the UPS tracking number and provide a link to the UPS website for real-time online package tracking. Finally, this page will also show the amount authorized and the amount billed on your credit card. It is important to note that BikeBandit.com never charges a customer’s card (only authorizes the purchase amount) until the items have been shipped to the customer.
There are 6 different status designations:
1) Pending – item has been ordered from the manufacturer and we are awaiting confirmation from our supplier that it is available.
2) On Order – item is either in transit from the manufacturer or has already arrived at our supplier’s warehouse.
3) Shipped – item has already been shipped to customer. (An automated e-mail has already been sent to customer)
4) Cross-Shipp – item was not available from the manufacturer’s main US warehouse, but has already been located at an alternate warehouse and is in transit to our supplier’s facility. This will usually add 1-4 business days to our normal 5 business day order processing time. BikeBandit.com cannot ship partial orders due to cross-shipped items. (An automated e-mail has already been sent to customer)
5) Backorder – item is currently out of stock in all of the manufacturers’ US warehouses, but has not been marked as a discontinued item. As a service to our customers, BikeBandit.com will ship all of the other items in the order when they have arrived at no extra charge to the customer. When the backordered item arrives it will be shipped UPS ground to the customer. If the item does not arrive within 30 days, the order will be cancelled and the customer will not be charged for the item. (An automated e-mail has already been sent to customer)
6) Not Available – item has been discontinued by the manufacturer and BikeBandit.com will not be able to acquire it for the customer. In this event, BikeBandit.com will follow the instructions provided by the customer regarding discontinued items during the checkout process. The customer will not be charged for any item that has been discontinued and therefore cannot be shipped. (An automated e-mail has already been sent to customer)
Our staff will be happy to answer any specific questions you have, but due to the number of visitors to BikeBandit.com, the View Order History page is the fastest and easiest way to get many of the most frequently asked questions answered.Gary Granger

Bike bandit for parts reference, not price...
Like Gary "sixtysix" Granger, I frequently use Bike Bandit for their online microfiche parts finder. Their prices are cheaper than retail, but still noticeably higher than the best known discounter for OEM Yamaha parts, Zanotti Motors.
Find information on Zanotti's discounts on the XS11.COM Sources Page. I'm no longer able to update the page, so some of the details may not be current.
For similar discounts on OEM Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki parts, check out Ron Ayers Motorsports.

I think the XS's start in 1980. Call and ask them to add your bike to the list, or just order stuff you know is the same.Gary Granger

Bike Bandit Usage
Got My Order from Bike Bandit one Bulb Broken shipped new one to replace right away one part was backordered but they took good care of me. All Parts were stock Yamaha Parts in Original Bags in Good Condition. Only drawback is that it took about 18 days to get the complete order. Will definately buy from them again all you need to do is plan ahead. T.J. Trahan1980 XS1100LG Midnight Special "Widow Maker"

BikeBandit charges $7.80 each for Mikuni main jets. That is the highest price by far I've seen for jets, which usually average $3 +/-
Just my opinion here, but that seems to be way out of line, how are their other prices?Mike * Seattle * 82 F'n'XJ1100 *

Zanotti Motors
For information on Zanotti's discounts, see my old Sources Page here on XS11.COM. Look under "XS/XJ Friendly Dealers". Also listed there is Cycle-Re-Cycle II. Their current price for Mikuni Main Jets is $3.25 ea., with straight shipping cost.

The $7.80 is for a set of four main jets. I just received them and they are genuine Mikuni jets. Bike Bandit did complete my order but it took them 25 days(8/30 - 9/24) to get me four main jets(115), four pilot jets(45) and a valve cover gasket. I don't think they stock anything and only order your parts after you order from them.
It's very easy to check the status of your order but you can't cancel it and there is no one to talk to about it. My email was not answered and it will have to be the ONLY place that offers what I want before I will use them again.Bill Murrin

I have used bikebandit twice,,,once for Pilots, got them just haven't used them yet,,they are not the same as the ones in my carbs, but got them in 10 days, and the other for the pickup coils, came in 7 days and they were theright one,,,a said before above in another post, they were Yamaha parts in the original bags as near as I can tell. I paid $100 for the Pickup coils, it wasn't cheap, but didn't expect it would be, the pilots were like 30 bucks total. Got what I ordered, no problems. Jets are the right size, they are missing the offset holes. They might be from a different year but plan on putting them in for a test next carb clean. My bud has used Zannotti's for his tranny parts, got em pretty quick and nice and new,,,also gaskets ,he has no problems with Zannotti's except he had to get his quote over the phone,,, they folks there said the couldn't take internet orders anymore, they were short of folks. That was 2 months ago ,so that could have changed by now. YMMV on all these things. lol,,parts are always tough on old bikes.Ken Krieger
