Protecting Polished engine parts

Anybody know if Canuba wax will yellow if used on parts that get hot like engine covers? I would like to protect my polished parts and give them a "factory" new look. I know that clear engine sprays do yellow from heat and time. So unless there's some new clear sprays that do not yellow I'm thinking of using Canuba wax or some other wax.

Rob, how about calling the Canuba Wax customer service hotline? I bet you can get some intelligent answers from a person sitting in a cubical in India!
