I'm leaving Sat at 2 pm.
Looks like all the single rooms are booked so I'm stuck with a double room.
One possible out for me is several people from work will be in Tahoe the same days so one might split the room with me.

I don't even know those brats and they're calling me "grandpa"! Does this helmet make me look old? Be honest...
Hehehe join the club. I just sent mine home last week..(grandkids). I told SWMBO that I needed at least a week to recoup from keeping the little beggars.

Sorry to hear of the loss in the family. We will all keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

As for the rest...I'm not sure what the plan is...but Miles Baker and I will be riding in to SLT Friday night and staying at the M6. Sat morning will be at Carrow's for coffee. I guess we'll see someone there we recognize?? ...hopefully...

Anyone gonna be in SLT Saturday?

Tim's coming in late Friday night, so I don't think we'll be up and ready early Sat. morning. But maybe we can get together some time Sat.

          Matt and Cody,
We should be in town Saturday afternoon. I think around 3:00 to 4:00 pm. The plan is to ride in on 88, and then down 89 into SLT.
Cody, if you ride out of SLT about 12:30 or 1:00, head out 89 and take a LEFT at the stop sign, we should meet someplace on 88. It would be a little different ride for you, and get to see some of the Sierra's on the West side of the range.
My cell # is 831-234-8721, and I'll have it with me. Leave a message and a number, and I'll try to let you know where we are.

I'll be in SLT at Motel 6 (still have room to split with someone) at about 6 or 7 pm. I'll be on the Midnight Special.
Hopefully the rooms are near each other and on the ground floor and near the spot the bikes are parked.

I don't fear Markleville...(or is that Mark-evil?) Those stinking hillbillies tried to kill me last year...with no success. BUT...This year I'm packin heat!

                  Last minit post

So sorry UncleSpot. I'm afraid such events will become more common as time goes by. If you can make it to meet us in Lodi, I hope you can bring one of your XS11 hats with you. I want one!
Meanwhile, we haven't heard from Knewsome. Hope he can make it from Sacremento!
Loho, Ray's idea sounded good, I'd sure like to ride with you.
I'm following Ray Saturday, so wherever he leads me, there I'll go. See y'all there!

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
                  I've been riding since 1959.
