New Toy!!!!

well i broke down and did it......i own an 82 xj550 rs
runs great,just needs new tires........easy enough
thank god no more carb issues!! (knocking on wood)for now anyway,.


emblems are missing and the tank and covers had been painted a dull copper but when time permits going to restore back to black.

i will post a pic with-in the next couple days if ya'll are interested

Great find! The 550 was/is a good bike. The carb issues will come up again, how often depending on your riding and fuel. I do carbs a lot, but I put between 15 and 20K a year on "Daily Ride".
IF you live near some of the "nice" roads, the 550 will be a blast! Enjoy the dide, but be safe.
