Okay I want to buy say a leather yamaha flame jacket for the best price possible. Oh, by the way I really am trying to buy one but not for $319.95 like the yama dealers want. So my question is "how would you search for this so you could "quickly" find the cheapest price on the internet? Rigtht now I found the cheapest at $270.36 but this is (so far) being done by searching for the part number and then opening every yamaha dealer in the world........Thanks in advance.

PS- I would be interested in a used XL Flame Jacket, Stealth Jacket or Hein Gericke (red/black) if anyone has one hanging in their closet that they would like to get rid of.

      Hey Dew,

Unless you have your heart set on YAMAHA brand, doing searches for "Flame Leather Jacket" reveals many more choices, and adding "Discount" brought several sites with flame patterned jackets at very cheap prices:

If it's a reputable seller on Ebay (Lots of feedback like several hundred or even thousands with little or no negative) I would have no problems with buying from them. If somebody else bought a crap jacket from them, they will say so in the feedback. But if it's somebody new selling it... yeah be leary.

Bought a new leather jacket from an Ebay store. Under $125 and decent quality. I personally would have wanted some armor pads, this one didn't have any. Nice thick leather with no defects that I could find. Zip-out liner.

              Ebay name is "theleatherlandingcom".

I have no affiliation other than a satisfied customer.

                Dew,

Go down to your locate Wilson Leather. Pick out the best jacket you can find. Get some stencils (for the Yamaha). Cut some flames out of some chipboard. Get some rubberized yellow paint and you're got it man! Can't say how long the logo and flames will last but the jacket will last you forever, unless you start riding a lot more.

I bought my present one in 2000. It has seen about 50k miles (I screwed up my arm and couldn't ride much one year), six years of wind and sun, football game duty, snow blower duty, sledding with the grandsons duty, and it was my only winter coat until SWMBO won't go out with me if I wore it. It looks weathered and some of the yellow bug gut spots are permanent but I'll be hard press to find a replacement. Besides, if you ride an old bike you should look the part.
