A blind intersection with a tree, and one idiot cager who is oblivious to rules, causes a motorcyclist to have an extremely bad day. I've said it before, the best bike riders in the world can have things happen too quickly for any defensive moves. We can say that.. "Well.. they should have seen the blind intersection ahead and slowed down..." but honestly, who here is going to slow down at nearly every other street crossong like that? Think of all the time and effort you have put into your baby.... gone in just a second.

Reminds me of my 1st ever traffic accident (1976). In high school, on my way to work. 4-way stop intersection. I stop, look both ways, then go (in my 56 Ford pick-up). The motorcycle comming from the left just plows into the side of my truck. The guy goes sliding down the road behind my truck. He was wearing only jeans and tennis shoes, no shirt, helmet, gloves. He gets-up (thankful for that) and comes limping over and yelling for someone to "call the cops, this kid just pulled-out in front of me!". I calmly pointed to the stop sign he just ran and he very quickly changed his tune, he had no insurance. I'm such an A-hole that we loaded his bike (chopped Triumph) in the back of my truck and I took him home, I was late for work. Over the next few weeks I'd go over to his house and help him work on the bike.
A few years later I saw him pulled-over by the Police, he saw me and flagged me down. I saved his rear from going to jail. He was drunk and the cop let us load his bike in my truck (deja vu) and I took him home. Otherwise he go to jail and his bike would be towed. So much simpler in the past to deal with problems.

Sorry about that guys. That was supposed to be a direct link to the video, but it added some "<br />" at the end, and it takes you to some page that you have to scroll and find it... with some semi-nude girl at the top. Again, I appologize, and maybe this will be a direct link to it.

I took too long trying to edit it. It keeps puting that <br /> at the end... so here it is if you just want to copy and paste the address.

Well... I'm not against half naked girls myself... but that sure isn't something I wanted to post on here.
Can anybody tell me why it's doing that? When I paste the URL just as copied, it looks right. Even when I previewed the message before I submitted it, the address looked right.. but when it came up here, it added that extra few things on the end. Even when I just pasted the address for the last post, when I had the "Automatically parse URLs" box checked, I could see that it was going to add that extra to it also... so I pasted the address without that box checked.

Anyway.. it's off of the subject, but I was just wondering if there were any computer gurus in here that could answer that. Thanks.

PS. Somebody needs to give people like me that have to hunt and peck all these keys a little longer than just 5 minutes to edit these things!! lol.

                  Direct link

You need to paste in the url just of the video, not of the page that contains it and a bunch of other stuff...

But why is it adding that other little bit to the link, when it wasn't part of the address that I pasted? I pasted the page that was just the video, but when it adds that other bit at the end, it sends you to the other page. In this case, I see you just copy and pasted the video. I was just wondering why it was adding the other stuff.
