4 into 2 Exhaust System

I am looking for a 4 into 2 header pipe system with the turnout mufflers for my 1980 XS1100G Standard model. This system is presently on my bike, but new system needed. I cannot tell who the manufaturer is and there seems to be no markings on them. I do like the looks of this system. I am preparing now to go on a 5-6000 mile road trip. My XS seems to run on and on and it now has nearly 60,000 miles, it is a "Rat Bike", not the best lookin' but she is the best runnin' and has taken me everywhere when I want to go. Very dependable and fast and fun to ride!

The Holy Grail you seek is sought by many, found by few.

Do a search here for Mac. They offer a Four into Two system that looks great but apparently dosen't last too long and won't fit if you have a factory oil cooler.

Once you've done that search, you'll see heaps of other threads on the subject. I've searched and searched and and if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.

I see you don't have a location but I assume you're in North America. There are a few OEM systems on eBay in the States in various stages of decay that you can have for a mere left OR right testicle and as your summer heats up, I'm sure you'll need to sacrifice both.

In short, dear traveller, spend plenty of time on eBay and keep both hands on your scrotum!

Im sorry, I can't help either.
That system has been on it sinceI bought it, and I also can find no markings at all on it. I think it might be a mac, but someone here told me it was a jardine a while back.

I have a decent set of used pipes off of a 78e standard. Stock pipes back past the heat sheilds and then on both sides factory pipes and crossover removed and a single chrome header has been slipped on both sides. So a sort of 4-2 / setup. Chrome is Ok no holes no cracks no welds. no dents a decent set of used pipes slightly modified driver quality. Shipping is included in continental USA only $100.00 andreashweiss@yahoo.com
