Hmmmm.... Is it a nice clean bike??.... YES!! is 711 miles the ACTUAL mileage of the bike..... I'm thinking NO.
I just can't see someone taking a bike with that few actual miles...like he said.. museum quality... and start puting fog lights, fairings, bags like they are about to go cross country... (And blow that 711 miles?)
Anyway... may be the truth, but would be a VERY hard sell for me to believe it. But..... sure is purdy!!

Getting the seller to post a close-up picture of each tire showing the DOT date stamp code would probably answer the question about whether the 711 miles are original. I can't see somebody rolling a speedo ahead past 100000, then tracking down an unused set of original tires to mount just to make it look original if it wasn't already. That being said, I also can't see anybody in their right mind wanting to ride very far on 28 year old tires!
I don't think that this is ALL ORIGINAL. I checked the pics very closely and there are signs that this is possibly a very fine restoration job. I agree that the odometer shows 711 miles but like the old vantage goes. Keep the miles down by disconnecting the odometer. It does look like it has spent time in storage. As you all know, Rubber deteriorates over time. Look at the intake boots, tires, And also above the rear inner fender, there is a wire connector block. Sharp bike though.
Or a new speedo unit with zero miles... POOF... brand new XS!!

these bikes came originally with Dunlap 625 qualifier tire rear, and F 11 front, NOT the elites that are on the bike. Nice looking machine, tho
