Fat rears..

Just how big are rear tires going to get? I was reading the latest on the new Suzuki power cruiser, 11" wide rear tire!! "Does this tire make my bike look fat?" The first thing I think of is the hurt that bad daddy gonna put on your wallet when it wears out in 5k miles.

Buddy at work got a victory vegas edition with a 250 on the rear. His tire is 600 to replace, and he's on his second one this season. I think the greater part of the market that is buying the monsters can afford it. I did take the bike out for a (dare I say) quicky... and it certainly took a bit to get used to.
