  • Xmas in June...2 XS11's for sale:CHEAP!

    Hey there Xsives,

DOYLE just wrote me and has got the itches for some NEW technology, and so is getting rid of a couple of XS11's he's got, here's the quoted message, feel free to contact him via PM for offers to take this stuff off his hands!!
Hi TC, I haven't communicated with you for quite awhile.....I need some advice. I am the original owner of an 80 Standard. It has been quite improved over the years ($5000 motor, SS lines, fork braces, oil cooler, on and on.) I had a minor spill a year ago on it (pea gravel on a mountain road) so all the scraped parts have been disposed of and I have all the replacement parts on board (another $1000 bucks!). Additionally, I found another original owner 80 Standard that the guy crashed right after he bought it in 1980 but he kept it in his shop covered since then! It has a bent frame but a motor with only 2000 miles on it! Plus all the obvious accessories-complete brakes, complete undamaged stock exhaust, etc., still intact, I gave him $500 bucks for it because of the incredibly low mileage. Anyways, a garage full of serious XS stuff including my partly dissassembled XS. Since my wife just gave me permission to buy a Kawasaki ZX-14...IF I get rid of the XS, I just want to let it all go to an XS lover for $500 bucks. Do you know anybody or what is the best way to get the word out? Thanks for reading this, any response would be so appreciated! Doyle Smith (Reno, Nevada)

    I'll take 'em!

I'm in Sac, so it'd be darned easy for me to truck 'em home with my Bronco.

Thanks to all of you that responded with interest in my XS 11 and parts. Knewsome in Sacramento was first in and he only lives 2 hours away. To those of you that asked about the spare motor, wait a week (after he picks up everything) and PM him for a possible side deal. Regards, Doyle in Reno
