Holy Sh%@... Somebody needs to tell this guy that Goldwings are for cruisin' !!! Well... he was cruisin alright!

Started to think the camara guy was TC with all the dragging sounds!! Couldn't tell if it was the bike scraping or he was dragging a knee.

    Yankin, bankin, and scrapin!

    Hey Todd,

That was the bike alright, the one recording the goldwing, not the one out in front! Sounds like he wore off most of his pipe guards, or whatever is down there under those BOATS!!

I've raised my muffler megaphone, and also my lift lever on my centerstand, so I'm expecting a bit more ground clearance so that I can lean even further during XS East in W. Va.!!

My dad has a GL1500. I think that those are GL1800's. He has the aftermarket floorboards on his. Every time that I get a little crazy on his I scrape the floor boards. makes the same noise. I can't get quite that low though.....

I showed both of these vids to a buddy yesterday just before we went on a 300 mile round trip cruise. as we sat around the campfire drinking beer we laughed about it.

Both of those guys' lives flashed before our eyes :-)

The sad part is, my '79 XS will still out run those GoldPigs on that road. I do more than that on my commute over the hill every day!!

I dunno, those 1800 with a good rider are pretty nice bikes. At the Crud Run, one two- up out ran a FZ1 with a very good rider (who I know).

The FZ guy was just shaking his head. "Damn it was fast."

I do know another rider who traded in his 'busa for a 1800. I know I am a pretty good rider, but he can ditch me any time he wants.

Now, any other wing? Yeah. Those just get in the way.
I've been in more than one Hemisphere, and I wrote a book to help you do it too (or just prepare better for that week long road trip). Going Small, not just for the little guys.
