    gas tank tank bolt

I am in need of the bolt that holds down the rear of the gas tank on my 78E. The PO had lost it. If any one can help please let me know. Thanks,

That bolt has been missing from my E for years and I've had no problem. The seat holds it down.
Local hardware store should have one in stock along with a washer.

Jeffe, it's just an 8mm bolt about 16mm long, got a 12mm head on it.

Thanks. I've not had any problems not having it. But it's just one of those things my mind wonders to on a long ride.
