• XJ for sale

Local ad sheet has an '82 Yamaha 1100 for sale..."won't start, electrical problem, as is". Called the guy, left message, no call back. Try again today.
Shiny side up,
650 Mike

XS1100SF "Rusty", runs great, 96k miles
XS650SJ "The Black Bike", engine from XS650H with 750cc big bore kit, 30k miles

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and defiantly shouting, "WOW, what a ride !" - Sprung

Always cool when you buy a "Basket case" that has electrical problems.... change the battery, and it works like new!! Good luck.

Dunno that it is electrical problems though the guy says it is, could need a carb cleaning. Could be broken fuse connectors. Tried again, message machine. Will try tonight and tomorrow morning.
