Here’s a ride idea!
Saturday, May 6th, Half Moon Bay, “Legend of the Motorcycle, Concours d’Elegance.” 200 pristine classic bikes on display. Apparently a very popular bike even. Never been there, which is reason itself for wanting to go! It’s at the Ritz Carlton (don’t chu kno o ow!) and cost $50 advance or $65 at the door. A bit steep, but roughly the cost of a movie date, even if it’s with your wife. Well, what I mean is, even if it’s your wife you’re takeing to movie… oh, never mind.
Go to www.legendofthemotorcycle.com and check it out.
I can envision a meeting at Alice’s Restaurant then riding together to the event. It would be a great ride up Skyline Drive to 92 and down to Halfmoon Bay. Of course, it’s not a bad ride to Alice’s Restaurant from anywhere.
Hey Ray, the event you said was canceled is indeed canceled, but it is a different event. This is apparently focused exclusively on classic and antique bikes. Bet you’d be intoit.

Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"

Movie date?
That's why I have a big screen and surround sound in my living room, paid for itself in theater tickets and dinners out.
Still it is a great idea though. Ritz Carlton...hmm...Do I have to figure out a way to put my suit bag in my saddlebag?
Oh right, time to try out my "easy travel" blazer.
Then of course I have to bring SWMBO, means $100 for concours tickets and I bought the bike 'cause it was cheap!
