    Ok guys, I got bid on a 81 left side cover on ebay, I'm Laser200eb, please don't snipe me.

        I know how you feel. Every left side cover for 79 standard I saw went for way more than I could afford. Then some guy parting out a 79 put the pair of side covers up with a $40 BIN price. I don't think I found the auction more than 5 minutes into it and I couldn't click that BIN button fast enough.

        They have a funky custom paint job but that's all that's wrong with them.

        Now I just need some pipes and I won't have an excuse for not getting the old girl going.

              Man I feel your pain, guy. It took me probably 8 months to get ahold of a right 80s side cover at a reasonable price.

                    Thanks, but thats for a Special, need one for a standard, are different and harder to find.
