This looks like it could be a fery good tool, but I was not able to get it to do anything useful this evening. It seems that no matter what I tried to put in for search criteris, it kept defaulting to a listing of parts for a particular model of midnight special. I'll try it again a few times when I've got a few minutes and I'm a bit fresher.

      Hi Ken,

Once you've registered with the site you need to login using the activation password emailed to you - then you'll be able to access the other models. It's a security 'feature' ! I got a bit nervous after what happened to this site.

Scoobes is right, the site isn't finished yet (I've input all the part numbers for the J, E, F, G, H, LG, LH, SF and SH - and I'm now having a great time typing in the part numbers for the 5K7 model) but if anyone else wants to have a look it's at http://www.benefiscal.co.uk

OK, the XS Part Number Finder website is now officially up and running.

It's got all the part numbers for the XS1100 E, F, SF, G, LG, H, SH, LH, the European version 2H9 and the European 'Sport' (5K7).

It's got most of the part numbers for the SG (but not all of them 'cos even the official Yamaha site doesn't have them).

Also has part numbers for the XJ1100 and the XS850LG.

The site has zoomable, microfiche 'parts explosion' diagrams for 12 models and you can call up two diagrams on screen to compare them.

I've recently added part prices and supplier details for 700 parts.

Now tell me what else you'd like !

            SG Parts

I have found that Yamaha didn't want to be redundant, so the unlisted SG parts can quite often be found under the LG listing.

              SG Part Numbers Update

I've just finished typing in all the 'missing' SG part numbers - even the ones that Yamaha don't have on their site.

And for good measure I've added the XS650SG part numbers.

              Enjoy !

                XS850 Part Numbers now available

I've now added all the part numbers for the XS850 G, H, SG, SH, LG and LH models. So if your XS1100 part is used anywhere on the 850 (or vice versa) the website will give you a cross reference.

I'll give my typing fingers a short rest before starting on the XS750 and XS650 part numbers.

                    Brian,

Excellent site - I've been using it for over a year!

What we need is the XS 650 numbers, with "also used on" models. That's because Mikes XS only carries parts for 650's, but we all know that there is a LOT of interchangeablity between models. It would be very beneficial to know exactly which 650 parts fit the 11's.

                    Keep up the fabulous work!

Your site is truly an example of dedication and service to MOST if not ALL of the Yamaha community. It has helped me sort out a problem or two. A standing ovation is in order!!!! Thanks again Brian.

All the XS750 part numbers have been added - so the site has all XS1100, XS850 and XS750 part numbers cross-indexed.

By popular demand XS650 is coming next.

And it now has over 1,200 photographs of parts.
