    The link below is to AMA site. Just click on your state of residence and it will list minimum requirements for motorcycles,i.e, headlights,brake/tail lights, turn signals, etc. This is very helpful for anyone looking at chopping or bobbing a bike.

    Beware: this link is not complete for all states, so check with your state DMV before throwing away any parts...
