Yep good for an extra 15HP! Seen TC run with them, don't hurt yourself trying to keep up.
    That's Highlander's 6" overs. I drove that monster - don't EVEN challenge him.

        Hey Roy,

The prices were about $200 to $250 for the pair, fully bolt on design, no mods required! You can check out his web site and probably get a quote!

          Thanks for the reply.
This is a great forum. I went through this site for a week before i even touched the Maxim. It helps a lot knowing a little info before you tear something up.
I have been reading up on brake bleeding this morning. I couldn't understand why the Maxim didn't have a bleed screw like the Venture has near the steering stem. Thanks again. Roy

They usually make only tubes for older bikes- there are lots of newer bikes they can't make them for- due to industrial methods and heat treatment and tube diameters that started in the mid-80s.

But they are top quality and 200 bucks or more is a steal IMHO.

And it is bolted in, except you usually need to cut a new spacer out of PVC.

                Long time no see!
I am in the process of getting the bike titled and am holding off on the big items until the bike is licenced. All i actually need are the tubes and tires. The tubes are usable but are butt ugly.
Thanks, several people have recommended these forks and i will probably buy them.
