Here's a link to a copy of the actual Yamaha Owner's manual in PDF format for 81 standard and special, should apply to earlier models as well, just not the XJ Maxim series!!
The files is about 6.5 MB in size, so be patient for the Download if you are on Dialup. You can either click on it, and it will open the Acrobat reader in your browser IF INSTALLED; if not, then you can right click on it, and Save As to D/L the file, then you can get a copy of the Acrobat Reader to view it!!
