I am sorry to report Marty Ambrose passed away on June 15, 2022. I'm very happy to have known him as I did. We're going to miss him. He was a very active supporter of this group and a good friend to many.

Marty's absence is going to leave a big hole. He was a doer, an organizer who made things happen in the XS11 group. I don't think those shoes can be filled.

I'm sorry one of the good ones is no longer with us. I do hope it reminds us all to remember to love our familiy.
XS11 lost an invaluable family member.

Never met the man myself, but am very happy he was a part of this community. He always had good contributions to the site and was well respected by all. Godspeed Marty and may all your roads be curved!

Oh my...I knew and rode with him and Sally many times at XSEast and the VYR ..He had a great heart and indeed was such positivity all the time.His eenthusiasm was contagious...Many folks dont know this but Marty was the first owner to take posession of an XS1100 in 1978 in the USA and problably N. America as well....He was an original owner from the outset...Much love and prayers to Sally and their family...

This one hits pretty hard, Marty was a good friend and riding buddy. We shared similar hobbies and got together even when bikes weren't involved. Marty was the best rider I personally know, he could handle a bike 2 up better than I could ride 1 up. I saw Marty scrape the muffler on his FZ1 on War Woman Road.....look at an FZ1 ...it's not even possible to do that. Anyway I feel sorry for Sally, these two were more in love as the years went by. You will be missed my friend.

Marty's loss is a tough one. It took me a while to process. He led the pack for close to some 16 years. XSEast2012, Cambridge OH, Buckeye Blitz
