Just got some sad news today.

Hamjam (Jim Hamilton) passed away this morning.

The older members will remember Jim, don't think he's been active on here for a very long time so the newer members won't know him.

Jim's health has been failing for some time now, and this morning his heart quit and could not be revived.

Ride free my friend... you will be sorely missed.

I'm glad to have had the opportunities to ride with him and know him. He was a really fun guy to be around. His wit and humor were unsurpassed. He'll surely me missed. Ride on, HamJam.

            Ride On, My Friend...

Saddened by the news of his passing. He was a great guy, an entertainer, storyteller and, most of all... a good friend. A privilege to know, ride and spend time with him. He lived and shared his life to the fullest extent possible and, memories of him are sure to bring a smile to all who knew him... it's how he wanted to be remembered.

Yimmie...you may be gone but, you will never be forgotten...

So sorry to hear of his passing. First met him at Toronto in 99. Rode over to his place to meet some other xssives. Jim will be missed.

I met Jim when attending the Toronto motorcycle show a few years back, due to an introduction by Phil, they were very long time good friends, and I was just getting into the XS world. Following that I was fortunate to share some online chats with Jim about guitars and his collection.

Those brief encounters were enough to enlighten me about his good nature.

Phil has shared quite a few good stories with me about Jim, and while visting Marty A recently after VYR 2019, there was endearing tales told about Jim at the rallies, and one of Marty's attempt to have him lead a ride

Seems he made good friends everywhere, whether by brief encounter or not.

I am thankful to have met him, and I really hope his spirit is kept alive with stories from those who knew him well.
