I just read that Boyd Coddington passed a couple of days ago. I really liked some of the cars that were built on his TV show. One of my favorites was the 59 Chevy, and the matching bike.
RIP Boyd.

Indeed his cars are unique rods and customs...always enjoyed the final outcome on the show but their methodology along the way left a few things to be desired...still they always managed to pull it off...RIP
Hey mack,
this was a two year old post that was reactivated by a spammer recently... Coddington died two years ago...
Here's what wikipedia had to say about it:
Coddington had been hospitalized December 31, 2007 shortly after New Year's Eve. [15] He was discharged, but was readmitted just a few days later to Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in suburban Whittier, California.
After being readmitted, doctors performed surgery and Boyd was expected to make a complete recovery. Coddington died on February 27, 2008. His publicist stated that Coddington was a long-time diabetic who died from complications that were brought on from a recent surgery along with liver and kidney complications.
