    Ok, I consider myself somewhat computer savvy, but some of these acronyms that are being used on this site confuse the heck out of me.

    I know what some are, like, IMHO = In My Honest(Humble) Opinion
    BTDT = Been There Done That.
    PITA = Pain In The A$$
    But some of the others....
    YMMV = ?
    SWMBO = 'wife'? 'girlfriend'?
    I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember what they are right now.

    Maybe we aught to start a running list of those most commonly used, so the newbies know what were talking about.

            Why do people put Your mileage may vary "YMMV" on everything. I see it all the time on nothing to do with mileage.

              Jeff, I'd guess that would be a standard disclaimer so that whatever they say isn't taken for gospel.
              In other words: what works great for me, might not work as well for you.
