I pushed the "Calendar" button above this block. Apparently, it has everyone's birthday. That's great, but if I remember my wife's and mother's birthday, I'm golden.

It might be nice if our upcoming rallies and get-togethers were listed there. It could be a useful tool. (not that I don't care about birthdays)

Public vs. Private calendars

Marty, there's a Public and a Private calendar.

The Public calendar requires Mod-like powers to set/change anything.

The Private calendar requires Moderator approval before events will be posted.

Both calendars can be viewed by Guests that are not logged on to the site. That probably shouldn't happen but they're just calendars, not the recipe for Jack-in-the-Box' Secret Sauce.

The Private calendar seemed to work for me the last time I tried to set the dates for a couple of the upcoming rallies but the events disappeared down the rabbit hole.

I just tried again for a ride this weekend in the San Diego area so maybe it will work this time?
