How do I tell if a PM is from XS11admin? I keep getting a virus warnings in a PM from people marked as "new" or "guest" posing as XS11 administrators. Is this real or Spam?

Spam....I doubt there is any circumstance under which the Admin of this site would PM you over an administrative issue, let alone your computer.

So think of it like this, unless you are richer and or much better looking than any of us, the liklihood of some hollywood hotty knocking on your door and asking you to marry them is much greater than the chance any PM from the ADMIN about your computer is real.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

I guess my point is (and it looks Like I didn't get through to you) is there may be a spammer loose on the forum sending PM's to members posing as and Administrator indicating that your computer is infected with a virus and that you should go to a link to have your system cleaned. Seems to me like a spam anti-virus advertisement or worse, a Trojan download. I guess there is not a admin forum to report spam problems on XS11.com?

Sorry, I took the humorous route and you were looking for a much more serious reply.

If you look in the Members Lounge area there are no less than four threads going on right now about this exact PM that alot of members recieved.

There is some way, I dod not see it right now, in the PM section to report it to the admin I believe. Perhaps a Moderator /Admin will add to this to explain how that is done.

As you may already know, do not under any circumstances open a link from someone you do not know or that look suspicious, like these SPAMS do.

I completely understand. Most Xsives are first and foremost jokers.I just wanted to warn others of the problem. I usually only view the rally forums. Thanks.
