how to delete old threads

i would like to know how to delete an old thread that i have posted and no longer talk about. is this something i can do or do the bigshots have to do it.

Hey there FirstXS1100,

The Threads are PERMANENT, unless they are later merged (By Mods/Admins) with others by the same person regarding similar topics. They provide a base for folks to search on. Also, that is why there is a limit on editting time allowed, so folks need to be sure that they want to SAY what they post, prevents them from saying something inappropriate and then coming back later deleting it and saying they never said it!

So....if it was about a problem that was fixed, that's okay, we like to see problems and solutions at work!

Now if there was other info posted, like personal ph#'s, addresses, names, and that person wants it editted for security purposes, they can PM me and it can be done!
