Many of the free upload site do not permit hotlinking of photos to another site like our forum. Try www.photobucket.com - it is pretty easy for uploading, and they do allow hotlinking...

You'll also notice that with Photobucket, you can simply click on the third 'url' it gives you when you look at your thumbnails. This one already includes the [img] and [/img] tags so you don't need to use the IMG button when posting your note. You can right click it in the photobucket view, press Ctrl C to copy, then Crtl V to paste it directly into your note. That way, you don't get the extra tags on each side of your photo:
