For the longest time I've been curious about the TAGs attached to posts.

    What do they do?
    Why are they there?
    How are they used?
    How do I add them?
    Why should I add them?
    What ones should I use?

So for the first time....I'm adding tags to a post and seeing what happens.

      Something Wicked???!!

Ok. This is why I aksed (Tha's right...AKSED) about these darned things:

Now that I'm replying to my own thread.....I don't see the "TAGS" option anymore at the bottom of the very post I am writing at this very moment.

Eet's Gone!, Man. Totally Gone! Nowhere to be found.

      Did the dog eat it?
Is my browser, google Chrome, gaslighting me??
      Does my computer hate me?
Has the site suspended/limited my options till I reach Guru status?
Should I give up riding my XS and start taking the short bus everywhere??

Or are Tags only allowed for the first person starting the thread?

Pounding Square Pegs into Round Holes Day.

          Thanks Garth!

I guess it wasn't my browser flaking out on me after all. (It still does some strange things like displaying/not displaying things that IE has no problems with.)

So...I, you, anyone can click on that <edit tags> button. Maybe it's just me but I'm a little leery of clicking on stuff that I'm clueless about.

I'm still trying to get my mind around just how they help find things fast. I mean a 5 word/tag limit?? I'm still missing something.

That's ok though. Today is one of those days where my brain is running like a truck with square wheels: Thwump.......Thwump.

Hopefully one day I'll wake up and it'll all be clear to me.
