  • Rear MC please

The snap ring / circlip is rusted solid in the groove of my rear Master Cylinder.

Who can send me a replacement master cylinder in the mail so I can go riding for a few weeks before the bike gets put away?

I have a rebuild kit, but need the circlip. A good rubber cover would be nice too, as that was likely not doing its job on mine.

Shipping required to Stratford, Ontario, Canada

The boot you seek is available from Sumo Rubber in the U.K. I've purchased several of their products, including this rear MC boot, all good quality.

Keep working at the snap ring, it's in an aluminum master. Get yourself a good flat screwdriver and pick set and scratch into the corner really good then try to pry so it spins first then work it out. Do you have snap ring pliers? Even if one of the holes is broken off they usually can be worked out and replaced with what they have at the hardware store.

Well sure, except when the little rings break off the clip ends
