  • NOS Midnight Special Side Badges.

    XS11 Folks,
Today, I found these at the local junk yard. I know of a couple people restoring these bikes here and grabbed them.

    YAMAHA PART # 4H1-21781-00 QTY:2

I'm not sure what bike they are for and ASSUME they are likely all the same or probably close enough to be used on any of them.

These are brand new NOS badges with the two sided tape on the back (intact).

I have no idea what these are actually worth.... Anything that sounds reasonable will be accepted.

    Kurt

I also found these but am considering mounting them on Dead Duck. I BELIEVE they are from a TX500

    Kurt,
The Yamaha badges are appropriate for a TX650. We need the part number to be sure. Mid production in ‘73, Yamaha changed the TX650 badge to decal.

The MNS Badges are on the way to Bob in Pennsylvania.

          Marty,
If any of your buddies over on 650.com need those OEM badges point them toward me. I thought of installing these on the DEAD DUCK but they have a good bit of a curve in them for tank mounting. The curve is too much to flatten without causing severe damage ruining a very nice set of metal NOS badges. Mounting them to my tank where I properly shaved the OEM XS11 mounts is also impossible. Otherwise, they become Wall Art.
