I'd buy it if my headers were junk (my right OEM muffler has developed a crack), but I'm very pleased with my OEM system.1979 XS1100F

No, lol. It's towards the end, in the top. Soft spot in the chrome that's just barely visible, but the exhaust gases are escaping through. It won't be long before it rots all the way through.
Plenty of options to consider once that happens.1979 XS1100F

Understand.......drawed in moisture over the decades will do that, from inside out. If 'handy' with a wire-feed-welder, can be plugged and then sprayed over with Dupli-Color High Temp Silver purchased from NAPA. It won't dis-color or come off.Last edited by motoman; 01-02-2017, 07:23 PM.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Even though this system isnt pristine ..its not bad and at the asking price with shipping is still reasonable for an exhaust system that is as rare as hen's teeth...these days the opportunity to get one of these presents itself one must move quickly for this is rare...Back in Sept there was a pristine ...like nearly brand new condition Jardine Spag. exhaust on ebay and the Buy it now price was only $300 bucks!!! Now thats the steal of the century...needless to say i know who bought that one...Last edited by madmax-im; 01-03-2017, 06:53 AM.1980 XS650G Special-Two

I also still have this "like new" spaghetti with about 200 miles on it now that I'd like to trade for an MNS exhaust:
