• XS1100 Fork Brace & Misc Parts

    Hi all,

I have one of the best Fork Braces ever made for the mighty Eleven. $45:

Also some assorted NOS parts. It would be nice if someone bought it all. $45. The Seat Emblem is probably the gem of the bunch. The Brake Hose is the lower #2 "1H7-258783". Peg Rubbers have the steel inserts on the bottom. The Rubber Boots go BEHIND the carbs. All NOS, and purchased specifically for the XS100E/F/G-STANDARD model:

Postage is Actual P.O. Cost to mail from Fayetteville, Arkansas, 72704. PayPal or Check - I am a long term member with a solid reputation. Call: Warren @ 479-304-1216.

P.S. I still have that '78 XS11E Engine / Frame / Rear Wheel bone out back. $50 and its yours, but you have to come and get it.

    Thanks!

Sure it's gonna make some noise, there's GAS exploding in there!

      Hi all!

I would like to thank those who responded to the advert, but the parts lot and fork brace have been sold.

I still have the engine and frame though; lots of good items there too.

      Regards,
      Warren

          Don,

Don't want to get anyone excited with pictures

          There are two pieces:

1 bare uncut and straight "E" frame, swingarm, rear fender, and tail light with mud-flap; no title. Rear wheel, drive, and drive shaft, still bolted to frame. K/Q seat, pan and cowl; seat is hard as a rock, pan probably rusty under the upholstery, and the cowl is sun damaged. - it rolls.

1 locked-up motor chunk with a good middle gear case and stator; no other electrics. It doesn't roll.

$50 for all, but the buyer has to come and get it. My scrap metal guy said its probably worth $100+ if stripped; $50 as is by weight. It has been untouched for a couple years and if I move it, it will be onto the recycler's trailer. I would prefer to see it go to an Eleven guy, but eventually it has to go regardless, as a major move is in our future. I am located about 1.5 miles off I-49 in Fayetteville, AR.

          Cheers and thanks,
          Warren

            parts needed

warren, i was needing a couple of bolt/washers. maybe you can help.

i need the bolt for the front caliper bracket. it is a m10x1.25. 35mm long. no washer/flange built into it, but has a tall cap, 7mm thick. its chrome with a 6 (9?) stamped on it.

also looking for a washer on the foot peg mount bracket. it goes in front of the rear foot peg behind a chrome acorn nut. it is also chrome.

i know i'm being specific but i'm tryin to get the correct parts to match everything else so i don't end up with a mixed up batch of parts on the bike.

i can send pics if it would help.

            thanks.
            mike

              Hi Mike,

Thanks for the inquiry! Unfortunately, what I have left on the XS11 parts bike is almost nothing. It has been stripped of virtually all hardware. If I did have the bits you are requesting, they would be lost somewhere in about 40 coffee cans full of everything from pre-war Ariel, BSA and Ducati bolts, to 60's and 70's Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha salvage; I strip the frames before sending them to the bone yard and save the fasteners.

Most of the best Yamastuff went on the last "E" I restored and sold back around 2004; here are a couple pics of that bike:

I truly appreciate your attention to detail, and it would be a total shot in the dark trying to guess what would be the right parts for your project. I will look next time I'm searching, but make no promises. I can only vouch for stuff holding that bone motor together.

Since the XS11 resto, I have moved to the race bike world; 1960's and 1970's Yamaha TD1's AND TZ's to be exact. I'm currently working on a 1975 TZ750 that Gary Nixon had when he was on Erv Kanemoto's race team, and finding anything for that relic is near impossible. If you have any leads on that kind of stuff, I would be most grateful.

              Regards,
              Warren

Thanks for the compliment Brian; wish I would have kept it, but they are never as nice as they day they're finished, and the first scratch is like a bullet wound
