  • 1980 XS1100 Special Parts F/S

Sold my XS and have some extra parts left over.

Custom modified Saddleman seat foam and new cover. No seat pan included. Ended up putting very few miles on it. Cover is in excellent cond. No scuffs, tears, or other imperfections.

Here's some pics of it mounted on the bike.

    $95 plus shipping.

Also have a new in the box pair of straight rate Sonic Springs 1.00kg/mm (05S-100)

    $50 plus shipping.

And last is a standard Classic Style 7/8" Handle bar that would work on the XS or many other cruisers or standard bikes.

    $35 plus shipping.

      Beautiful bike

Silentray, beautifully maintained bike. Identical to mine, except for the rear rack, backrest and rectangular side reflectors. I bought mine new in 1980, lived overseas except for a month in Summer, so very few miles, always garaged and properly prepped for storage each year. 5 Sept of this year a truck pulled out in front of me on highway. I'm not walking yet, and only one-handed typing, but my bike is in the garage and I'm going to try and rebuild it - frame, front wheel/calipers OK but otherwise everything from the fork yoke forward is toast, as well as two inside headers. Makes me very sad, but I'm going to do my best to get it back on the road! You've got a beautiful bike, man! Best, IndoJimbo

Sorry to hear about your situation Jimbo. All the best with the recovery. Rebuilding the bike can wait.

              78/79 850 seat fit a 79 1100 Special?

Hey guys - just saw a seat for sale advertised as 78/79 Yamaha XS850 -XS1100 Special - includes grab bar and the pan. Looks like it's in great shape. Definitely does not look like the Special's seat though so I'm thinking its the 850 - does anyone know if that pan (with the same hardware) would line up on an 1100?
