    Complete set of emblems

I was keeping this set as a "just in case" situation but I need the cash.
If you're picky the finish will have to be re-done, but there are no chips and the studs on the side cover emblems are not broken.
    I want $50.00 + shipping OBO

Off a standard? I could use tank emblems for my 79F, and you can never have too many side emblems. If they're not cracked I'd go $50 and you cover the shipping.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

You might also note, those ALL are for a Special, not Standard.

            Hey Brandt,

As far as I know they are for a Std. They were billed as being for a Std. and I bought them with that understanding.

I can tell to look at them that the side cover badges are for a standard. Every special side cover badge I've ever seen says special right on it. The ones in the OP appear to be 78/79 standard side cover badges. The tank badges are harder to identify and the only way I know to check them for sure is to check the fit on a standard tank, or carefully measure the holes.

Sorry, those tank emblems having the recessed mounting holes ARE for the Special. The Standard tank emblems, ALL yrs. are glued on.

What? Do you make this stuff up?! I've got a couple sets of emblems for standard tanks in various states of disrepair, as well as the set that's currently on the installed tank. They ALL have recessed holes and fit perfectly.

Not tryin' to argue, just that those tank eblems in the pic are for the Special, Side-cover badges are for the Standard.

They look identical to the emblems that are on my tank now.

                      Cobia -

Did you get my PM reply? If you would check the distance between the holes on the tank emblems, and it's the same as the ones I've got, we're in business.

                        Tank Emblems

1981 Venturer tank emblems were installed with two-sided molding tape. All previous year Standards were screwed on. Venturer tank has smooth sides with no recess for screw-on emblems.
