The sad story is I got the 78 running and took her out on I-95 for a check ride. I did not notice until I got home that the left side cover fell off. I must have gone up and down I-95 10 times looking for it. Does anyone have one for sale ?

When it comes to 78E color does not matter much as they are as rare as hens teeth. I have a pair that have been repaired and repainted but they will be staying here till I am done reviving these old bikes.2-79 XS1100 SF

I see some of the other models are able to have their covers modded to fit, does his 78 standard or my 79 standard have optional covers we can modify to fit our bikes?1979 XS1100 w/Factory Fairing <Need left cover>
