          You really have to have a BAD oil temperature problem to pay that much for a USED oil cooler.

          A 12 volt fan motor blowing across the engine at idle may be a better alternative?

                  I watched people

                  bid on a Kerker and two Lockhart oil coolers this weekend.

                  The Kerker, http://www.ebay.com/itm/231506484455...84.m1435.l2649 , went pretty high and yes, I tossed a bid that just missed it. The two Lockhart coolers went fairly high as well. All three adaptor plates were oxidized and pitted rather badly.

                  The prices are somewhat out there for this stuff and it got me to thinking...
