  • 81 Special Badge?

Not up on my badges but it says it's OEM and is on the cheaper side... Says new without packaging. But of course buyer beware.

It's run without the xs1100 in the title so maybe flying under the radar?

It may be new, but it does not look all that good in the pix. Plus the fact that it is plastic. Replacement metal emblems are available here. I have purchased several from them and they are good quality:

I got a repro last spring, too, it's great, but it was before I knew anything (not that I know anything now!) and got a 79 for my 80. One of these days I'd like to swap with someone.

Far as I know 79 and 80 are the same.

i thought so but the X is solid in 80 and outline in 79. I don't care all that much but I felt kinda silly ordering before I'd even looked into it. Was too excited about getting my first XS in 30 years. (third in all).

as to Jeff at KZ900 he sold me my vetter mount and seems like a good guy/seller.

You might find those same emblems for less at Diablo Cycle.
