do you still have the odd parts, If you do would you mind doing a resistance test on the coil and let me know what readings you get.
Also is it the 1 and 4 coil from the left side or the 2 and 3 coil from the right side.

i do. how do you want the measurements taken?

test both the primary and the secondary side of the coil for resistance.
