    Even xschop said his chaindrives would fit on XS750's

    Actually I have several XS750 donor middle gears and they do interchange, they will bolt right on in place of the XS1100 unit. What is different I know is the rear wheel, it has no damper rubbers in the hub and the spider drive unit is riveted and not bolted to the rear wheel. That has no relevance really to the chain conversion of course, it's just some random info I discovered when I bought a rear XS750 wheel to turn down to a weld in cartridge for wider wheels. The XS1100 wheel is a better donor. My chain drive is very similar to xschop's, just a slightly different way to skin the same cat.

      anyone have any pics of their bike with this conversion? may be somthing im interested in doing for a winter project.
