  • 1979 xs1100 rolling chassis part out, including TITLED frame

I recently acquired a 1979 xs1100 rolling chassis, and all I needed were the front end and front brake setup, so I'm parting out the rest. I accept Paypal, fees are on the buyer, or send as gift. Prices are OBO, and don't include shipping.

I have pictures of everything that I'd be happy to send on request. Internet is abysmally slow here. Most of the parts have been rattle-canned black by some genius, and about half the black has flaked off, making the parts look extra dumb.

I also have the items for sale on xs650.com, where I have a gallery with tons of pictures. (not sure if I can put a link here?) I'm Ranger there as well.

    Here's what I have:

FRAME complete with swing arm, shocks, driveshaft, final drive and Texas TITLE $150

REAR FENDER, black rattle can over chrome. Rust on bottom side, no cancer $10

REAR BRAKE SETUP. Everything from pedal back except rotor. I don't know whether the brakes are in working order, so assume they need to be rebuilt. $50

FRONT WHEEL. Has tire mounted with decent tread. Tire is dated 2008. I'll leave it up the the buyer as to whether they want to pay the extra shipping for the tire. $60

REAR WHEEL Tire is junk. It will be removed. $50

TANK/IGNITION SWITCH. Don't know whether switch works or not, but I'm throwing it in. Includes key and both petcocks. Paint is in rough shape. Spaces where emblems were located have been bondoed over. Looks like it needs to be redone. Rusty inside, but seems solid. $50

    REAR AXLE ... $10

SEAT PAN Pad is junk. Front pan bracket is breaking away. This will go free to anyone who wants to pay for shipping. FREE

PEG BRACKETS. Includes passenger pegs. Don't have all the bolts. Left side bracket has divot taken out of the aluminum. $15

FRONT FENDER. Chrome with rattle can black over it. Looks straight with no dings. $20

Title doesn't say, so I'm not sure. It didn't have the leading axle if that makes a difference.

It says 2H7 ... I checked the link you provided. Didn't see anything on Special or Standard, though. Apparently it's an XS1100F and originally was either Magenta Red or Indigo Blue. Or does the "F" suffix denote whether it's a standard or special?

Yes, the F indicates it is a 79 model year Standard. The absence of an S in front of the F signifies it is a Standard, only the Special models had the S in front of the year code (Midnight Specials got an L in front of the year code). The lack of a leading axle would also suggest a Standard.

Shipping to 97306 for the seat pan. I need to convert mine from a stepped seat to a flat one! Your pan should fit my bike perfectly.
