    You're about $50 off the mark. A quick swap of timing plates and any one of these will run on the earlier (NOT rare) TCI.

      re: 4R0-10

      Hey thanks for the heads up DAVANCI, but you should keep your negative comments to yourself. If you weren't interested in the piece you should have just gone on about your business.

      I actually posted it because another honest member recommended I list it.

        Pcmcse1- Excuse me? Who do you think you are talking to DAVINCI like that? It was far from negative. He was just giving you a fellow forum-member "heads-up" just as you called it. We keep the tone in our forums civil, and don't condone people looking for fights. If you can't manage that, have your friend post stuff for you, whom may be a little more polished around the edges, and you stick with computers, if I read your user name correctly.

          pcmcse1;

          I reckon disseminating valuable information is what this site is all about.

          Finally gave up and parting out that H you've been working on for 4 years, or is this TCI a spare?

            Yes, disseminating valuable information is what the site is all about. There are more arguments here than one can shake a stick at, be it oil or tranny fixes.
            To me, both are actually right on price. If you do not have the parts necessary to swap the timing plates then you may have to spend that same amount in order to obtain said parts. If you want the original parts for whatever reason, you obtain them, at a price.
            I myself have pee'd off more than one other member on here. So be it! Thing is that this is a public (basically) forum and anyone can post whatever thoughts they may decide to post. The recipient of any desultory post can react with either ignoring the response or arguing to the point of massive heart failure.
            Thing is we do not control what others can post (other than stuff like vulgarity and such), so it is no big deal to see one member get sassy with another. So just grab a beer and wait....it will iron itself out.
