The problem is they cost so stinkin much to ship. Some guys ship using greyhound but I don't have one local. I have a couple sets out in the shed and they are all over ebay from a few bucks to hundreds...

In all honesty they are pretty much worthless unless you can sell them locally. A while back I sent a set of bags like you have down to the states. Had to get the deal done and stay under 200 bucks USD to make the sale. Shipping was 153 bucks and the exchange rate (our money was worth more) and the paypal fees ate up a lot of the 47 bucks left in a hurry.
Now add to that the cost of running around finding appropriate sized boxes and good packing material. Ok got em all boxed up and ready to go... trips to three different shippers for estimates. Email the guy and then have him ok everything before doing the finals of the deal. Then another trip to ship the items. Gas/time/wear and tear/ Having to be able to have the time from work to do all this, (shippers were only open when I work) are all time consuming and costly. One shipper (UPS) was a 25 mile drive one way.
In the end I lost money on the deal. I am ok with that as someone made good use of them, but I will burn the next set before trying to ship them. That was just a set of saddle bags so imagine the work you will do for a fairing, rack and bags.
This was of course a longer distance ship, but the work involved is the same as well as the returns. If you can not sell them locally the best option is to offer them for free just pay for shipping and handling. You guys have better shipping options in the states than we do but I would sell as pick up only. I will however ship you a Bic lighter on me for free, you supply the gas.

There's enough XSives in GA/North Fla/SC/Southern NC that someone here may be interested.
When you do get them on CL, post the link up on this thread.
You never know, there may be a lurker who can't respond to you (because he's not registered) but may be able to respond to the CL ad.
If only you were about 200 miles closer.

                    Fairing and Baggage

If I am hearing you correctly, these are off of an 81 Venturer? And you have the bags and mounting hardware, luggage rack, but no trunk, as well as the fairing and mounting hardware? Do you have the pad for the luggage rack and the tail light bar? (cannot tell from pictures) When you remove the bags, you will have to replace the bar with individual tail lights. So you should include the bar with the bags.

What shape is everything in - paint, chrome? What are you asking for these pieces?

                    Thanks, MP

The rear bar that runs between the bags is not there. There was no pad on the rack when I got it. There is some rust on the rack, I haven't messed with it to see if it is just surface or if it is deep. I will take some better pictures this afternoon when I get off work. Those were just quick shots when I got everything home. I don't know what these go for so I'm just asking for someone to make a decent offer and not try to rob me for them. Anyone that may be interested can text me @ (912) two two 4-9494.
                      Thanks

See Matt, I knew someone close by would bite.
Those 81H touring packages are good to get as a set.
Some like them, some like to go naked.
I'm glad that they may be going to a good home.

As far as the rear crossmember, others have fab'd up something to use. I think some have even used elect conduit pipe and painted it to look good.

I found these on Ebay, but it's the full set, not just the bar(s) you're looking for.
At least the pics might help someone else identify what it is you're looking for.
This is a post from Keith's thread, he was also looking for the rear cross bar.
