Crazy question but would any of those working carbs work on my 79xs1100s? Mine were stolen and I need a set. Please be kind to me. I really am desperate. I live in Walla Walla also.79 SF

Hey Don,
The 81LH and the 80SG are direct bolt on. the 82 XJ are direct bolt on except the choke system is cable operated on the XJ so you would need to rig up something for that.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I hope so also. I also hope that whoever stole them has some bad karma. It truly is disgusting to steal. I know any extra parts I we er have will go to anyone who wants them. This truly is an amazing forum79 SF

I once sent a set of carb boots to a fellow who had a fire and melted most of his airbox.
