  • Midnight rear brake caliper and brand new pads

Ok so somewhere, somehow, I ended up with a midnight special rear caliper, took it apart to rebuild, then realized it was for a midnight. So it needs seals. The piston has some very light pitting, so may be no good, I'll mail it anywhere in the US for $5.90 (USPS flat rate small box cost)
I also accidentally purchased a set of pads for midnight rear brake, intending to get special rear pads, willing to sell for $1 less than I paid, $20, anywhere in US, shipped. I paid $21 off eBay, the same are still available on eBay, if you want to see pics.
Reply here, or for faster response email me directly at gallupdm@msn.com
Or I will gladly trade all for a late model sport bike front master cylinder, if you happen to have one laying around.
    Thanks and happy trails fellas!

That must be what this one is then, I'll take a pic and post it in a little bit. It matches up with google images for midnight special rear brake. I have the correct rear brake for my bike, after much digging thru the parts boxes, the one with the center mount bolt, the one I don't need, and have brand new pads for, uses a pin at the rear to mount to the caliper bracket it looks like. I'll snap a photo in a few minutes.

First, what would be visible on the right side of bike:

        And the pads/pivot pin:

And what would be the rear, if mounted on an xs:

Also after a closer look, this one has the good seals and good piston, it's my xs caliper with the bad seal and pitting... Damhkjd!

Anybody know what this thing is? The pads fit, and were listed on eBay as being for a midnight special 11... And from google images it looks (to me) like what comes up when you search xs1100 midnight rear brake. But maybe it's for an LH? Or XJ? Whatever it is I've got no use for it...
