You won't be able to find or make anything better than that exhaust in the aftermarket. Might want to reconsider in my opinion.

I'm looking for a 4-1, I'd argue that someone certainly could make a superior exhaust.

I'll agree with Nate; you've got a Jardeen 'spaghetti' system there and that's one of the better ones that were available. And yours is in nice shape, another big plus. There's virtually nothing being made now (except for a couple of high-$$$ systems that either require extensive mods or offer no performance increase), you'll have to search the used market and there's mostly beat-up junk out there these days. There are a few 4-1 systems that offered more top-end power, but you take a loss in the lower end of the power band (where you'll be riding the bike 95% of the time).

The XS11 came from the factory extremely well-tuned with the stock airbox and exhaust; unless you have a flowbench and a dyno, the chances of improving on that with anything 'homemade' are slim....
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

'78E original owner - resto project
          '78E ???? owner - Modder project FJ forks, 4-piston calipers F/R, 160/80-16 rear tire
          '82 XJ rebuild project
          '80SG restified, red SOLD
          '79F parts...
          '81H more parts...

          Other current bikes:
          '93 XL1200 Anniversary Sportster 85RWHP
          '86 XL883/1200 Chopper
          '82 XL1000 w/1450cc Buell, Baker 6-speed, in-progress project
Cage: '13 Mustang GT/CS with a few 'custom' touches
          Yep, can't leave nuthin' alone...

Robert, if you really want to sell that exhaust, sell it to me on here and save some eBay fees.

But, let me first try to talk you out of it. I have one on a 78E and absolutely love it. The only thing that beats it is the Kerker 4-1 I have on my 79F, but you can't get either new anymore. I have stock on my 79SF and it breathes good enough.
You will regret selling it. But if you really want to, I'm here.

              Jardine

Just curious, what kind of sound are you getting out of the Jardine compared to the OEM? And can you do a oil change without removing them? Hard to tell by the pics. I like the look, pretty unique.

I have a 4-1 I'm not using, think it may be a Mac. The headers are solid, the muffler has some wear. Let me know if you're interested. Not looking for much for it, $120 shipping anywhere in the 48. PM for pics.

Meant to say $120 plus shipping. I would say $135 total would be fine, any extra shipping cost would be on me. Thanks

I guess someone must have bought them or I sure would be bidding. The exhaust does not show up on your page. I have two sets of Jardine Spaghetti's here and would love a third. If they are still for sale I am needing to know.
