works performance "vintage gassers". were on my '80 special when i bought it. according to the previous owner they were put on the bike about 10 years and 3,000 miles ago. dual rate(double) black springs on chrome bodies. just had them recharged with nitrogen and the oil topped off. they were about $600 when new, asking $200 plus shipping. excellent condition. selling because i need shocks with external preload adjusting. to adjust the spring preload on these you must remove the springs. since i need to change the stiffness often to accomodate a passenger these won't work well for me. they are a straight bolt on to a stock xs1100.
